UPDATE: The villain has now been revealed:
Huge My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic news that will impact the future direction of the show will be announced on Tuesday 8 / Wednesday 9 November.
The news will include details of a 'significant' new villain as well as what the future of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic will be like beyond 2017, including some of the harrowing changes that will come to Equestria and its surrounding countries. Whoever this villain is revealed to be, the male or the female candidate, they will almost certainly change the nation for the worst, and it will be up to Twilight and the gang to stop them!

I can't tell who the villain might be, I always wanted to see Grogar though, I'm pretty sure he hates ponies for he is a necromancer and the lord of Tambelon. Making him appear in Season 7 would be awesome consider it's earlier to see than the movie, but the movie is more extended than just 20 or 40 minutes.
