This episode was fairly regular for me, Ember was the best and Thorax did not seem so annoying despite his voice.Β I really hate his voice. I think his conflict makes sense, he is not a leader just for having a redesign, and the changelingsΒ are finally realizing that.

I think would be better, if Spike became a FULL dragon (not a baby stuff even CMC growed up), and take HIS place as Dragonlord, after all, HE grabed the Cepter, he's the Ruler, now he quits just to be a SERVANT a SLAVE of a Alicorn, wich everytime he goes out of Equestria he becomes a Dog, or a Fish. He's a Pet.Β
Spike is a character who needs a buff, for the sake of "oh no, not that baby again", he would be more respectful as a Ruler of the Dragons not as a baby, but a Dragon.Β

Why did I know you were going to turn this episode into a sex-related issue? Β Either way, yeah, this one was a tad underwhelming. Β I like the idea, but like another said, while it would have been more predictable to have the two get along and Spike become jealous, the conflict we got was pretty stupid. (So much so, I can kinda see why most episodes like this don't do it) I felt this episode was at its best when Thorax and Ember were having a civilized conversation with one-another. Β Before that, admittedly, Thorax kind of got on my nerves. Β He was really playing up the guilt-trip card this time around, which is annoying enough, but the fact that it wasn't even intentional somehow makes it worse.

You nailed this critique - except for the rating. Granted, the episode could have been pretty mediocre or even downright terrible, but Ember's lines saved the whole thing for me. I still think she is one of the best addition to the vast character list of MLP.
But yeah, Thorax is kind of a loser, like you said... :')

Unlike the latter, Spike was actually to blame for his actions, he learns his lesson, and said actions had good intentions rather than selfish ones.

Well itβs like this. Twilights parents drop in out of the blue, they meet Starlight, they notice how much she looks like a pony who used to live next door. Then comes the suspicion, accusations, blood tests, ending in litigation, so use a condom, it will save a lot of heart ache.
