Pikachu reached saturation a long time ago (I prefer Charmander anyways), but this looks awesome. I'm not sure if the red circles would be part of its fur pattern, though, but maybe a different texture of skin...?

I tried to put geometry to do the cheeks but it wasn't good (remember those would be "electric emitters"). Also I don't like the eyes, looks like a plushie.

...Considering how "plushy"-friendly (read: obsessively marketable) Pikachu is already, I wouldn't worry too much about changing the eyes. Maybe contract the irises just a little so you can see a tiny bit of the white sclera; this would make his eyes slightly more realistic while maintaining the big glassy-eyed look that is his trademark. And remember: Pikachu(s) are oversized rodents, so having proportionately larger eyes like this are fine.
What helps make this picture great is that you can see the barest of his lower lip is not covered with fur, so it has a little pink for the mouth showing without actually having the mouth open.
Okay, what about: having a thinner layer of fur [than what you currently have there] at his cheeks, so that the red is actually the skin showing through this new softer/thinner fuzz? That way, the fur itself won't be colored, but he won't just have two giant lesions on his face. I imagine that since his cheeks are the location of the natural electrical emitters, everytime he uses them the fur is naturally thinner (due to evolution of the species) so that it doesn't singe off/catch fire each time!

this deserves to be fuetured tbh
(im kinda sleepy so excuse the spelling)
only thing is the eye's texture isn't as realistic as the rest of the model
other than that this is pefrect.
