You ravenous, raptured
raven-crested wraith?
Gliding through the coves' and
age-crafted holes of mystery
lain unseen to the eyes of man
now uncovered to the briny breath of
Persephone.
Why sang you the siren song
In enchanted, embroidered
evening-patterned arpeggio?
To snare, snitch, snap the
selfish souls of savage men?
To forage, feast forever
on the forlorn faces of
now forgotten men.
How lost unto your breast!
How cast into your heart!
How many feasts have you had?

This is absolutely eirly lovely, both poem and picture. The stile reminds me of those old Oriental prints of demons and ghosts. Especially the spirialing clouds. I love the coloration on her body; the slightly mottled mix of blue and green combined with the empty white eyes really adds to the eiryness. That, and the simplisity and almost childish rendering of the image. The "weathered" look to the background is a nice touch, too. Again, wonderful job.
