I was on a bit of a tango binge last night. Ballpoint pens are fun to work with.And I just love to draw MiCock.
They are totally my crack OTP.Mihawk x Hancock from One Piece.

Thanks! I did a loose under-sketch in pencil first, but since then I have tried sketching more in pen. It really loosens you up once you get the feel for it.

Thank you. I actually just used one of the cheap ballpoint pens that come in packs of 10 or whatever for the inking. Nothing fancy at all.

What? You don't like MiCock? MiCock is, like, the best pairing squish name ever. Except for maybe MorCock, but I'd rather not have to see that pairing ever again... Once you have MiCock, you have no need for MorCock...

Moving right along, thank you again. XD He and Hancock both would probably be quite good. Also, I drew the basic lines in pencil first then went over everything in pen. I do my loosest sketches in just pen, but for more complicated poses, I like to do pencil first.

This might be a kind of dumb observation on my part, but I love the fact that Hancock's being 'dipped' because the way her head is it references/looks like the way she 'looks down' on people. Yeah, I know, a stupid observation. Still, loving this picture. Mihawk looks 'dashing' (I love the vest!) and there's a whole lot of movement in it.

Y'know, the looking down pose never crossed my mind when I was drawing the picture (even though it's Hancock's signature pose!) >.< But now that you point it out, I can definitely see where you're coming from. Sweet. XD

Hah, true that. I mean, Hancock's one-sided crush on Luffy is cute and all, but I just can't take that couple seriously (and I don't think it's supposed to be serious).

For me, there's almost no such thing as a 'crack' pairing. I prefer to think of them as exotic or 'obscure' pairings. Personally, I adore crack pairings because they are so much more original and interesting than your typical LuNa and ZoSan. Not that there's anything wrong with that...but I like something a little more creative. There are so many characters in One Piece, its an huge universe filled with such colorful characters, so it often baffles me why fans stick to such conventional pairings.
Look...I once tried to pair off Mihawk and Alvida simply because they dress alike, both wear fancy feathery hats and carry ridiculously large weapons. Didn't quite work...but Mihawk's look manages to 'compliment' a lot of characters.

I admit, I'm a fan of more conventional pairings like LuNa, ZoroTashi, ZoLu, and FraRo (and a few others). I just like the chemistry between the characters within canon, therefore I pair them off in fanworks to explore and deepen the relationship I already enjoy. But OP is so open to alternate pairings since romance isn't a focus. I mean, I love the more popular pairings to pieces, but I also like to branch out. I've actually told people that my favorite pairing in OP is "Anyone x Everyone."
Very nice. I can see how Mihawk and Alvida would compliment each other visually. I think Mihawk's sexiness just kind of oozes onto those near him...
I've paired off Vivi and Kaya before since they're a.) both rich and b.) both 'Straw Hat' fangirls in a sense. I think they would get along great...if they ever met. Also, I've recently become intrigued by the idea of Mihawk and Perona...

Oh don't get me wrong, I love, oh what is it called "Nakamashipping?" I think...The Strawhats are a great set of characters who are already just all-around great friends, so that's why they're fun to work with romantically, even if it's not really an element in the actual story. I've always been one of those wierdos who loves the minor characters though, and one of the reasons I like OP so much is because it has such eccentric, fun and memorable characters, no matter how few appearances they make. And because there's such an expanse of these characters, I always like to try and explore with them...and what can I say, I'm a sucker for romance.

"What If" pairings are always great, because its always intriguing to be able to find common ground and similarities between characters even if they've never interacted. This has turned into quite the coversation! Sorry...I write fanfics, so exploring the minor, neglected and lesser-known romances of OP always gets me going. My OTP is AlvidaxCabaji...it has been ever since I saw them standing next to each other in Loguetown.

Hehe, I love minor characters too. Oda is a genius when it comes to giving even the most minor characters little quirks that make them unique. There really is a lot of pairing potential. Just last night, actually, I watched a couple of the Edo period filler episodes just for kicks. I now ship Duval and Lola (They are so perfect for each other). x_x;;
