coloured pencil use, step by step. (or at least, thats the way culpeo uses them
)mmh - since so many people asked me for a tutorial, here you go. okay, its not a real tutorial but a step by step thingie...anyway, i thought, it could be interesting for you.
*love my pencils
* working with traditional media is wonderful and i find it kinda sad, that many people, who want to start and learn to draw often use instantly photoshop nowadays. i suggest everyone to start with the real basics instead of digital media - and thats good olΒ΄ pencil and paper. photoshop is great, of course, but digital media is not the ne plus ultra

God, that must've been quite annoying having to rescan each drawing. I at least get pretty annoyed when I have to scan several things at a time. My scanner takes forever.

I was experimenting with this to improve my coloring and neatness I lack when I scan my color penciled pieces, and I was aiming for a scarlet/dark red. I ended up with a more brighter tone than I'm looking for and when I add gray or a light layer of black you can see the pencil lines or it doesn't show up. Do you gave any suggestions? It may just be the brand of color pencils- I'm not sure. And you do an incredible job blending the colors. My first thought was:'Ohhh that color....?'

I started out using colored pencils for my drawings, but my parents were getting tired of always buying colored pencils, so I had to switch to mspaint on my computer. I only use my tradtional media for posters

Wow, you did that with color pencils!0.o I actually never thought of using blue for shadows though... I really want to learn how to do this!
PS. if it makes any you feel any better, i don't even know how to use photoshop and i've been doing art and drawing for the past .... i don't know, like 7 years or so -.-' (Kinda wanna learn that too though...

Yeah id be sayin the same thing but u have so many fans and i would imagine you get tired of the same stuff soooo... the original drawing is really small - not bigger than 10 cm. : D for the paper,its just normal white paper everyone knows.
