Verstörend find ich grad besonders, dass du den Film in etwa zu der Zeit gekuckt hast, zu der ich auch grad auf ihn aufmerksam wurde und darüber einiges im Net las.

Small point of advice. Make the muzzles a bit bulkier. It looks far too wolfish.

Treadwell was definitely an...interesting person, but you have to admit that his relationships with bears and foxes was pretty spectacular. He just got mixed up with the wrong bear...

Honestly, the way he was posing around bears literally screamed for being eaten at some point. I do give him credit for loving animals so much but the lack of respect in his behaviour that anyone should have for any wild animal that can easily kill you was just irresponsible.

He definitely showed irresponsibility in the sense that he was pushing his and the bears' limits, and the fact the he brought another person with him, who ultimately was killed with him. But I will say that he definitely proved his point by showing that the bears were in danger of further habitat loss, and that a coexistence with nature is possible to a degree

I absolutely love bears, and while this is really well done, it comes off much more as wolves with bear lips.

Ein wenig..... wölfisch... der vordere Braunpelz..... verzeih... aber er gefällt mir. Als hätte die kleine Schwester ihm gerade die schwer ergatterten Honigwaben abge"luchst"...

Bin auch erst auf den Film gekommen, nachdem ich mir im Museumskeller Hoatzin-Eier habe zeigen lassen, die, wie sich dann herausstellte, von Julianes Mama gesammelt wurden! (Bis dahin kannte ich ihre Geschichte gar nicht.) Daraufhin den Film gefunden mit so viel schönem Herzog-Deutsch (ich will bitte so reden können) UND Schopfhühnern UND "meinem" Baum, das war einfach... eine tolle Entdeckung. 
Beim Grizzly brauch ich leider noch einen Anlauf..

In fact, the way this guy posed around with his naive "love" for nature and bears and "animals-rule, humans suck, death is bad"-attidude, i also couldn't help but be reminded of someone else as well (in a quite twisted way, tho - hence those foxes he had in company, fff)

Es geht um Timothy Treadwell, der dreizehn Jahre bei wilden Grizzlys gelebt hat (und letztlich von ihnen getötet wurde). Herausgekommen sind Stunden über Stunden Videomaterial, die Herzog für seinen Film verwertet hat. Daraus entstanden ist in Grizzly Man ein Charakterportrait von Treadwell, das tief in eine ganz offensichtlich gestörte Psyche blicken lässt.
Ich war fasziniert, fand es zu gleichen Teilen jedoch auch extrem verstörend (und Werner Herzog mag ich ja eh; weniger seine Kinski-streifen, für die er berühmt ist, sondern mehr seine Dokus. Ich höre dem Mann einfach unheimlich gerne zu.)
