after reading american psycho by bret easton ellis (that book is so sick oO) - i felt like drawing some.

I like how one is in a suit and the other is basically "naked" except for the tie. He covers himself with a newspaper. Smokes a cigar to draw attention away from the fact that he is defiantly "naked" compared to the fox with the watch. lol

"American Psycho" ist krank. Ich mag es. Sehr. D: je mehr ich lese, je mehr ich davon sehe (der Film selbst kam mir ziemlich kurz vor im Vergleich...dennoch brilliant). Ich liebe den zum Teil gehetzten, atemlosen Schreibstil, die Aneinanderreihung von Absurditäten, das Schonungslose. Es ist widerwärtig, aber auch sehr inspirierend. Mal gucken, ob ich was daraus lernen kann. *tipp*

Die Preisfrage ist aber, ob du Saw auch kapiert hast, nicht ob du Blut und Splatter abkannst - und DAS bezweifle ich.
American Psycho ist auf psychischer Ebene äußerst verstörend, ein gesellschaftskritisches Spiegelbild jener Zeit, welches mit schonungsloser Bösartigkeit auf zynischste Weise den amerikanischen Traum in Frage stellt, die Leere hinter dem Materialismus, verkörpert durch eine soziopathische Hauptfigur.
Das meinte ich vorhin mit "das Buch ist nichts für dich."
