Ah, well they are very similar styles, but tis purely coincidental, I was just doodling some simplistic critters (as I was getting annoyed with commission work, ha!) N accidentally doodled a squirtle, so decided to doodle the rest of the starters in that style... N then ironically, just as I finish the Kalos starters, they released the Alola starters! But ha, enough distractions, I should properly try n finish my commission work! Ha!
