Another beautiful painting, I love the subtle details in the foreground trees and the softness of the rain! How did you achieve the falling rain, perhaps with masking fluid or did you lift it? Keep up the great work!

Thanks! I painted it specifically to try out the masking fluid method but I didn't like the way it looked (too stark) so I ended up smudging and lifting.

You use masking fluid often? I tried it once and the next time I went too use it, it had hardened up.

I bought it shortly before the quarantine and I've only used it several times so far. I'm learning how to use it but it's definitely a very practical tool for watercolours!

Yeah, recently someone reminded me about this technique and I used it again. As a kid I used it a lot with the art teacher I had. We also made some salt paintings but I don't remember how we attached the salt in the first place
