In his youth with his enchanted spear Gungnir and fellow Æsir, Óðinn fought back waves of Ice Giants₁ invading his home soil Ásgarðr and decimated Fire Giants₂ in retaliation for genocide on Elves₃ plus their attempted genocide on Dwarves₄. It is because of him that Dwarves live still. Though he met his fate at Ragnarök by the bite of a giant marsh wolf₅, Óðinn lives on through reincarnating and regaining his first life's memories.
