For a change I thought I might upload some of my previous commission products. This is a wig that I styled for Sohma Hatsuharu from Fruits Basket. This was actually my first attempt at a short, spiked wig back in 2006. Paul [the commissioner] and I were picky about achieving a spike that was not overly-poofy [since many short wigs tend to go "POOF!" due to the amount of fiber in them] without exposing the mesh of the wig cap. The black was sharpied in. Wig was tried on in a sanitary manner with permission of the commissioner.If interested in a commission, I do accept inquiries. so, if we want this wig, do we have to pay for it and if we do, how much is it? i never wore a wig before and i love hastuharu.Im a girl and my hair is reallly short, and i want to make my hair like this. but, my mom wont let me dye my hair. How long did it take you to make this? I'd love to hear back from you. Oh, and my names amber. Im looking for his jacket but i cant find it anywhere. If you know where it is online, please tell me. This wig is the best Hatsuharu wig I've ever seen! It looks so natural~ LOL My first thought was: 'How the hell can she do that? Make two wigs into one??' *reads Author Comments* 'Oh. Thank you! It is possible to combine two wigs [I actually know a lot of people who have done this, in order to thicken wigs], but I've never done it.

I've honestly never dyed a wig, myself. I've only used sharpie markers to add highlights, which is what I did with this one. ^__^

I absolutely guarantee this method. In order for dye to take to the acrylic fiber of a wig, it must be alcohol-based. Sharpies are one of few paint pens that are alcohol-based. Simply colour the portion of the wig you need, rinse it out with water, hang to dry, and brush the wig out to its original style. The texture of the wig is not affected at all. This isn't like human hair dye, which can make hair brittle. TOTALLY different scenario.

Now that is too freakin cool! The two-tone looks really clean like you had just sewed a whole black weft into it. I'll totally have to look into commissioning you sometime, you've got some stellar talent. <3

The trick was just colouring the bottom layer of hair and layering the white over it for a natural gradient. ^__^ And I would love to commission for you, so please do keep me in mind! <3
