To celebrate what would have been Leonard Starr's 90th birthday I decided to post several illustrations from the TV series Thundercats that he was so heavily involved in. This illustration features something very rarely seen on the show (if ever), a sectional plan of Cat's Lair which shows you where everything is in relationship to each other.Β Hope you enjoy it.Related content

This is so cool!Β I didn't realize so much was put into this.Β I thought it must have been more random and adding rooms when they needed them.Β I never though all this was planned out before hand. Love it!

Yes, a lot of thought was put into many ofΒ the show's locations. I have some very detailed illustrations of various places from the show. Such as the inside of the Mutant's lair, Mumm-Ra's lair and a closer look at many of the rooms in the Cat's Lair. I will be posting more as time permits.

His birthday is actually towards the end of the month but I decided to do some early celebrating. More goodies to come.
