Description
This is one in a series of art done by legendary DC Comics artist Dick Giordano. I've always been a fan of the art that he did on the Batman series but it is nice having a Superman original piece of art. In the bottom you can see Wonder Woman flying off in her invisible plane. Based on the other pieces that I have I think this was an advertising piece for swim equipment. The other pieces feature children at a pool with lots of goggles. In addition to being a cool piece of art, it is also signed by Dick.Related content

Yes, a real sweet treat. What was even better was the Batman sketch that he did for me many years ago. Unfortunately someone stole it out of my autograph book when I went to an event that featured Colin Baker (a former Dr. Who).

Yeah, I was a bit upset when I found out about the missing sketch (actually I still am upset about it). The Batman sketch was actually one of two sketches that was stolen that day. I was able to go back to the artist that did the other sketch and ask him to do another for me which he did. He felt so bad for me that he did an even better sketch. It's a shame that Dick G. wouldn't do the same.
