Description
Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U as we know lacked a good amount of familiar Mario characters, even as far as including what people find pointless. DLC didn't make up for it, especially with there being Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach to go with the Metallic Copies featured. When it come to a Switch Port of Mario Kart 8 that I despised for a bit with concerns that it was chosen instead of a new game, even as far as me not getting hold of a Switch myself until they announced a new game, they brought in some additional characters that may have only been chosen due to having been originally intended for the Wii U game, only to not make it due to time constraints. And then came the Mario Kart 8 Booster Pack, which is strangely part of the Switch port of Mario Kart 8 instead of it's own game, it wasn't until the 4th wave that they'd start bringing in additional characters, so much so that it got to a point where we'd finally have a game on the Switch with a satisfying Mario Kart roster. When it comes to the next Mario Kart game which could feature other characters that got introduced in Mario Kart Tour, let's hope that certain familiars that we played as on the Wii U in some form won't get left out.
