The rugged mountain terrain
of my soul is starting to get
too sweet for you to resist.

but me, I'm climbing
up to the summit and
falling into the valley
and I'm getting a bit tired of
breathing this thin air,
my lungs might burst
and so may I.

you keep asking what I'm
thinking and all I know to say is
I don't. Nothing exists in these
bleeding hands and frost-bitten lips
but the up and down of crumbling mountains
that won't hold the weight of
this broken mind anymore.

Do you really still want this?
because for your sake, I'd rather
climb alone.
