I LOVE THEM I LOVE THEM.Please pleeeease don't post hate on this picture, especially since there isn't much PDA in it.Β
Truthfully, my heart is filled with so much pride and joy for the way the world has changed. Twenty years ago, ten years ago - hell, even five years ago, a pairing like this probably wouldn't ever be seen in a children's show. Yes, this isn't the exposure that is deserved, but it is definitely a step in the right direction! :3

Mike and Bryan may have, through their own actions in the ending of Legend of Korra emulated the ending of Season 2...caused a shift in the energy of the world. Through Korrasami, change for the better may happen, though how long it may take to realize, I know not. Hopefully soon.

I agree!!!! :] :] And the fact that they didn't kiss may actually be a good thing as well; so often when femalexfemale scenes are shown in the media, everything is hypersexualized and objectified. (In other words, there's a slight phenomena that when lesbians in particular are portrayed, they are still showed through a male heterosexual lens. They may be shown as hypersexualized and unrealistic instead of genuine and full of love).
There was nothing hypersexualized about this scene, it was so real and loving!!! I truly think it was a relatable scene that many people will find important and healing.

Not only that, the imagery of that ending scene was extremely brilliant! Korra and Asami hold hands and gaze lovingly into each other's eyes, as they head for a world of infinite possibilities, which is a great metaphor for the unknown adventures that await them, both in the physical world and Spirit World.

Yeah, I wish the build-up wasn't so subtle cause it felt a tad out-of-nowhere. And I don't think I say that because I assumed they were all straight; I thought that because there truly didn't seem to be many signs.Β
Meh, I don't know. Regardless, I thought it was an adorable ending. :3
