Here's to twenty-five years of the Pokemon anime! Hard to believe Ash and Pikachu's journey is finally over after all these years. I felt like commemorating it with something from the very first episode.

I'll be honest, there was a time where I couldn't stand Ash. I dropped off of watching the Pokemon anime regularly after the voice actor changes, but kept up with what was happening online. But over time, I came back around and found a new appreciation for these two. It's going to be weird not seeing their adventures anymore. But here's hoping the new anime will be enjoyable too.
