probably my most favorite designs Made a while back so this would be considered the killer insanity Kain interpretation, this Kain is somewhat similar in some ways with tainted soul mostly that being that he accepted player's/ Chara's hatred deal but unlike tainted dissociative identity motives are different because of how he was affect

in dissociative identity when Kain joined player and sans Kain would gain a twisted personality that enjoys the killing while he still had some part of him that clearly showed regret but still even when he killed something he always yearned for more ,it was never enough Kain's twisted side wanted more bloodshed so his twisted personality betrayed sans and player, this would lead to the same scenario that tainted was in when Chara was freed and reborn but unlike tainted dissociative twisted side would kill Chara but something happened Chara wasn't upset she was quite accepting of Kain killing her still her last words made a dent in dissociative's twisted side these were her words " you really hate me that much don't you, I don't blame you I deserve this more than anything, I I'm so sorry Kain this all my fault can you ever forgive me" she would die soon after those words and dissociative only stood quiet for the first time in a long time his twisted side felt something different he always found enjoyment in the slaughter but for the first time be his twisted side felt something different Regret, Chara's death only made dissociative feel hollow and full of regret the guilt of Chara death caused dissociative's twisted side to feel overwhelming stress that literally fumes out of him while his more sane side wallowed in even more regrets being now as the only person in his Au

so this Kain has literally two sides a sane and regretful side and a pure twisted side from accepting the deal and joining sans and player in the slaughter

his twisted side is fuming a mix of hate and stress , but the hate isn't for the player or sans it's towards himself because dissociative twisted side only agrees that he should of never killed Chara because the regrets will never go away
if the stress is too much his soul will literally explode , it won't kill him but he'll be soulless now this is were Chara would come in she didn't fully die when she was killed by dissociative she still stays with him even if he is unaware of her presence and she knows that he felt regret soon after her death, if the stress is too much for dissociative Chara while give a calming presence more or less to help ease and calm dissociative, the more stress he feels the more fumes come out of him while when he isn't as stress less fumes there will be,

dissociative's soul will always inevitably explode this does cause pain but it will not kill him it will make both of his sides soulless but his soul will always be reform back together because when this happens Chara will possess dissociative to make him a new soul and this would be a cycle that happens every time his soul explodes and after the soul is reformed by chara dissociative would wake up like nothing happened

Chara cares for Kain's well being since dissociative isn't in his best of state's
one thing dissociative will never do again is kill a Chara and let's say that will involve something with tainted 😏

will Chara do her best of her ability to make sure dissociative soul remains intact for as long as possible before he needs a new soul and it is possible for Chara to take over dissociative so easily because his mindset is in two places
