Gallifreyan inspired teleporter
i got bored with the editing in photoshop thats why the funky things 
likey? no likey? let me know , low poly mesh, colour map,bump map,normal map,luminous map and glow effect, time taken to make : 1 hour (mainly becoz of tweaking with textures) time to render : 50 seconds, all in all im pretty happy with it
good for my college portfolio, anyways thanks for checkin it out

i really like the style of the center blue area . the mix of textures is nice and the composition is well done . did you use the moon to bump the floor ? your glow effect is very subtle . i always overdo it

yeh i used a moon image, and i used the same image as a bump and normal, came out pretty good, an thank u very muchly XD and iv been tweakin this for hours tryna get the glow right, and the illumination

i know what ya mean about the "tweaking details for hours" skit . i much more prefer modeling to painting but when you do spend the time on the render and finally see the results it's always worth it

it took my ages to find a tutorial on uvw mapping in C4D i can tell u how if u wanted, maybe make a tutorial myself ^^ thankyou for you kind words btw
