For some reason my default thing to doodle when I'm feeling down is gamtav.Whelp.

the whole being down part isn't that awesome, but drawing gamtav is perfectly acceptable. But the title is kind of sad and foreshadow-ey. The picture is adorable though. I kind of like the white space that splits the background colors apart, cus for some reason I think just one color could've worked, but what you have is better. I'm also in love with shirt wrinkles because to me that is detail

gamtav is just really good to doodle to cheer myself up it seems xD I guess the title is a bit foreshadowish thought tbh it was more a case of me not being able to think of a title for it, and just settling on using a snatch of poetry instead (It's from The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock and the full snippet actually goes: 'Till human voices wake us, and we drown'... which is even worse now I come to think of it).
Also thank you! I did actually go with just the one colour background originally but I found Gamzee sort of got lost in it a little bit, so hence the white split. I like it better too :3 And I tend to find if I leave the shirts just as a block colour (so without the wrinkles) they end up looking very visually bland and seeing as they tend to be large blocks of colour within drawings it's a shame really.

I have the same problem painting shirts so I thought I'd comment on it since it can be such a weird thing in a picture, so no problem. And yeahhhh. It's always interesting when people give something a name and not for a particular reason. It makes literary analysis and stuff like that pretty funny for me XD

Yeah shirts are one of those things that are always a bit tricky. I tend to find with this lineless style less is more when it comes to detailing.
Haha in my defence that line has always made me think of sober gamzee a little bit, so it tends to rotate through my head when it comes to thinking of titles for stuff involving him XD

I've been meaning to comment on your linelessness XD I think that's pretty cool that you do that because it adds a different feel to your style. I don't have a preference, but it really makes a big impact on how your art appears.

Haha I admit the sudden switch to lineless was a bit drastic, but it's just a really fun way to draw for me and does seem to be something that makes a visual impact far more then my lined stuff does. It's pretty neat.
