The fact that this spaulder is all copper is what really took me back! Kudos on a kick ass piece! Your work here is just incredible! Excellent job!

that does look wicked. I suspect it's made of hamered bronze or copper.
Love the details, absolutely kickass. I can't wait untill you show us the finished piece.
Though isn't is closer to C'thulhu than the Kraken?

Thanks! It's all copper, top to bottom.
And I call it a Kraken because that is one of the demi-god-like beings that are under the Goddess of Nature at a LARP I belong to. This piece and it's twin will ultimately be a part of a whole suit of armour I'm making for my character.
