Inspiration: Depeche Mode - Macro (album: Playing The Angel)

The song has a quiet, precise and well-structured feel to it, which - to me - felt a little bit artificial and "overly polished". To depict this properly, I decided to use an object that is in sharp contrast to the background and to overamplify the colours. The noise of the song (especially near the end of it) inspired me to fray the transition from the foreground to the background.
