When you look at this picture you may think oh it's just a girl and a donkey and the girl isn't even looking at the camera, she just looks mad or sad. Well...she was ready to get back on the road to my house, to light another cig and whatever else.But in fact this picture is so much more than just that. It actually took all that I had to not cry while editing it. But the more that I looked at this photo the more I loved it.
Normally I might have just cropped her out and shown just jack. but SHE is the photo. I took this photo a few years back and never did anything with it.
And then the girl in the picture died.
and I looked at every photo I ever took of her again. Just to find one that showed four hundred emotions tied into one photo. I have others. But this one kept calling my name.
It's been 10 months. and it's still hard as hell to look at past photos. But there is a memory behind it. A memory behind all the photos taken. A story to tell. It only takes looking a little deeper.
Some days are harder than others, today was a harder today. But this photo speaks words I could never speak of.
