Just playing around and testing my new Jot stylus for my iPad. This is drawn 100% on the iPad using just the Paper app from Fifty-Three (And Sketchbook Pro just to export to Deviantart directly from the iPad). Testing out a watercolor-pencil style.

I love Firestar and all her costumes. I figured I hadn't yet done a piece in her 90s outfit from the New Warriors. This is an alternate scene from the Spider-Man storyline Maximum Carnage, where Venom knocks out Firestar out of anger when she refuses to kill Carnage. I imagine something more sinister might have happened if Spidey or the other heroes weren't around to stop Venom from going too far with Angelica.
