Description Working on a series of characters for Zing Toys. As you can see, this guy is a viking warrior wielding his signature boomerang throwing axes.

The client wanted these characters to give off a wild, nomadic, semi-feral vibe, so the costume is mostly animal skins with some celtic-style design work. Still in the process of adding in detail such as the bird-skull necklace.

I'll post the finished piece soon.

woo, i love this. he seems very feral and agressive, and a little "dwarvish" from his broad arms and legs. still i am glad you added the white "spiral" to his legs that is very viking.

Thanks! Yeah, trying to get that early pagan look while still being somewhat nebulous on specific cultures. Also still adjusting his dwarfish proportions, but should have it sorted out in the next draft : )
