When I saw the thumbnail of this, I actually thought it was a hawk of some sort so Fracrist is right there is a definite fierceness to the image. I like this shot, it is very captivating.

I do like the strength of this shot: the pigeon seems quite fierce, as it was tracking its prey; the contrast is harsh and I think gives the right mood to this shot.
