I just tried it out. It works just fine (except minime button) even on latest media player on Windows 8.

It doesn't quite work right with wmp 11 but even so it is sill the very best one I have ever seen. I like it compact but to pop up with the video screen when it plays some of my videos. I constantly use wmp with a playlist of mix mp3 and video while writing or internetting so it stays out of the way but I still get to see my favorite music videos

so, u r trying to "hold" the lyrics window even if there is no lyrics?
that is not possible. il consider it for the next version.
and it retains the previous size. so if it was not maximized while closing, it wont be maximized.

Can you tell me how to freeze windows ? If one song has no lyrics then the window is removed. But if the next one has lyrics then the window comes back and is maximized.

This is friggin great. I was using the Ipod skin that was DD'd a few days ago, but it's too fricking small to see anything.
This, this meets my requirements for a wonderful skin for a media player. BEAUTIFUL job.

can i make a suggestion? make the buttons that opens the playlist etc to close properly if the playlist (for example) is open, what i mean is, it already does that, but if i open the playlist and close it in it's own button, when i go open it again in the other button, i have to click twice to open it, because the first one is set to close it (when it is already closed)
sorry for the poor english, i hope you did understand
anyway, thats a really good job (though i didn't figure out how to work with the lyrics feature yet, maybe because i'm using wmp10 and not 9)

well, by how they built the WMP Skinning System, i have only one solution for that. and that solution involves a very frequent "Registry Access" which is not good for your PC's health. so nothing to do.
in future version, i'll give user to choose that function if they wish.

you are probably talking about the .savePreference/.loadPreference right? well i made a skin using that for the buttons and so far i didn't have any problem with my reg... but giving the option is cool
can i make another suggestion ^^ (sorry)? this would probably change the functioning of the skin a little bit... but how about making the video "holder" resizable?

what ive to do is set a timer that'll frequently loadpref. to make it look nice, it has to be as frequent as 500ms and that means 30 times per minute reguardless of the Playlist is closed or open. i dont think it's that much needed.
if you want the Playlist to close permanently, use the "PL" button to close the Plist not the "X" button on the Plist window. and use the "X" button if you want the Plist to pop-up everytime you load the skin.
i know it sounds a bit "not right" but thats all i can do for now. soon jetBar v1.8 is coming out and i'l consider the UserChoice for that version.
right. it'll totally mess up the skin and if you look at my codes, then u'l see, it's totally not in a way for resizing things. coz of a lot of Direct Coordinate using and i never though of resizing like this. u have sliding Bars for that.
but im thinking of a separate VidWindow Option for the users like to resize the video window a lot
and of course, anyone can make any suggestion and hate comments too (with proper reason)...

wow 30 times per minute, not at all, i mean... i was talking about a script that checks the status of the a view and changes it accordingly to its condition, something like: if(view1 is "on"){view1 = "off"} else {view1 = "on"}, by firstly assign a value to the registry using the theme.savePreference( varname , "value" ); and them checks the value using the theme.loadPreference( varname ) and change it if needed
i can even send you a note with a function to do that
about the video, yeah a video window is probably the best choice ^^
