i remember the first time i met penelope ...'twas 6 years ago ... i was trying to get some eye contact ...
and i said, "right next to the guy with the funny accent."
she walks over to me, "i have a funny accent."
"well ... i'd much rather hear yours ... than his."
i'll forgive her for the cruz years. or year. whatever. it's hollywood ... nothing seems to last.
except for youth and beauty thanks to the legions of doctors in beverly hills.
she's always sweet.
even with a 102 fever like she had when i made this photo.
she doesn't remember the funny accent encounter ...
but ... she remembers me ... we were sitting next to each other at my favourite l.a. restaurant ...
matthew and i talked about tuna.
for 30 minutes.
i'm not going to say why she remembers.
but ... we looked at each other ...
and i said, "um ... yeah ... magnolia ... matthew and i talked about tuna ..."
and she shook her beautiful finger at me ... almost scolding me ...
for being a bad boy.
have no idea why ...
but matthew and i have a few things in common.
no, i don't play bongos naked.
okay .. enough ... i'm waiting for my "someone" ...
canon 5d. 85/1.2L. 160th at f/4 at 400 iso. yes, the motherfucker was converted to b/w with custom actions and channel mixing...
