A beautiful vision, very nicely executed.
It reminds me of The Black Stallion (the early scenes with the young boy racing across the beach.)
There is such vivid detail; the spots on the skin, the silky mane. The colors are muted but with a slight warmth. The water seems crisply cool and refreshing. The clouds and mist in the background create an almost rainbow on the upper right.
The piece is lovely- and effectively powerful. There is a wildness to it, yet there is also tranquility. There's a feeling of energy- almost as if the horse is the one bringing on the storm.
