The masked fox kit plush is finished!
I was able to install the LED resin eyes this evening. The mask is removable in case something happens with the LED's or should they need to be replaced somewhere in the future. The battery box is hidden at the front under the black cloth so I can easily reach the switch. The eyes are really really bright red when switched on.The mask is, despite made sturdy, is still fragile so this fox is more a costume prop than a cuddly plush.

That's seriously something awesome. I wonder if you could make that as a regular mask somehow with the glowy eyes. >.>

Regular? As in a bigger one that you can wear? Well, If you want LED eyes and be able to see through the mask, you'll have do something similar that fursuiters do; create a pair od invisible eye slits so you don't stare through the resin eyes with possible eye damage as aftereffect. because the eye slits are relatively small on this mask it wouldn't be easy but I'm sure there's a way.

LEDs last a long time, those shouldn't need replacing in forever ^_^

I have had some that are just bad for whatever reason that just go poof, so it can happen. Just normally when you've got a bum one to begin with.

Yes, exactly. Possible issues can always arise and it would be a shame if I wouldn't be able to replace the LED's should something happen.
