Description
For those who don’t know or haven’t heard of this comic, this is about a dog named Sophie, who has been adopted into a new home with other dogs but doesn’t remember what happened to her previous owner nor how she got there. But when she realizes that her new owner is actually a serial killer, she must convince and warn the other dogs and help each other try to escape from him and so on. Plus, it’s also been emphasized that these dogs have short term memory. (Mostly in terms of not remembering something that happened after some time or so) Something that I never knew about before and I think that works within the context of a murder mystery/horror thriller and so fourth. (More on that if or when I post a review of this series)

Now, I won’t get into spoilers here, but this is a very dark and riveting comic with a Disney/Don Bluth-esque art style that many people will recognize. The story is compelling, the characters are interesting and well written, but there’s also pretty shocking and heartbreaking as well. (Again, no spoilers) So these comics may not be for the faint of heart, so fair warning.

Plus, the first time I’ve heard about these comics was when I met Tony Fleecs (The writer/creator/artist of this comic) at the Las Vegas Comic Con last year. That and he’s also worked on a lot of cover art for the My Little Pony comics (G4), so that’s a major plus. And he was a cool guy to meet and talk to. Lastly, some of you may have seen my autographed MLP/Transformers and Stray Dogs: Dog Days book that I uploaded pics for last year. If not, you can see for yourself in my gallery if you wish to see them.
