Description
This is several months old now that I'm putting it up, but I just came across the scan I had. It's small and since I no longer have the original, this will just have to do.Pen and colored ink and WAY more time than it should have taken. It isn't correct, but at the time I only had a movie trailer to work with and I couldn't see the details below upper chest height.
The original piece is now property of the actor.

what wonderful detailing! the intricate shin texture and stone wall are all delineated so clearly!
like your colors and tone...they seem to mirror the movie well (i haven't seen it yet though i desperately want to...and also half scared to...)

I saw the article and picture off of the Doug Jones experience website. Congrats, you lucky artist, you!!! That must have been pretty darn amazing to not only have gotten to meet him, but to also get the exclusive pleasure of handing him this awsome piece yourself!!

What was amazing was that I remembered to bring it that time! lol I was very glad I was able to give him the piece, even more so that he agreed to take it.. and let me tell you to convince the man that the piece was his to keep, that in itself held up the line longer than anything. Dougie's a sweetheart.
I'm always happy to see that someone is going to enjoy something I've done, rather than watching it sit here in my folder forever. In this case, I couldn't think of anyone I'd rather have this one in particular go to.

A story like that, its hard to forget!
I find it funny that almost every roll Dougie plays is a serious(-ish) one, and yet, the guy is such a fun, lovable goof off camera (well, from everything I've read and seen in interviews, extra features, etc). You were so lucky to have met him...you lucky, you!
