Description Trudie - 60cm hybrid ABJD. She's made of lots of different bits and pieces. Her clothing and necklace were custom-designed by me, and then brought to reality by some very talented people to whom I will always be grateful.

I did look up the historical differences between a bard, a minstrel, and a troubadour. But you know that doesn't mean much these days when it comes to medieval fantasy. So I still don't know which title suits her best.

wow. this is very nice. i love the pose and her eyes.

i see that you posted this a few years ago and most likely are not thinking about her anymore, but i would probably categorize her as a minstrel, but she could also be a troubadour. bards were particularly poets for the higher class. there's a beautiful poem called "so you wish to be a bard" by rathflaed dunoir that mentions all three.

I do still think of her actually. Not so much the doll itself, who is now only just the custom head on a static bust, but the character. She'll always be with me.

And yeayh, I think minstrel or troubadour as well. But all these modern fantasy stories and RPGs do just seem to call them 'bards'!

Loving on her clothing. She's so unique and I love that about her. [Unique in a good way, not UNEEK]

Thank you! The annoying thing is... she was such a bitch to bring together, but now she just sits there looking all effortlessly complete.
