She was smuggling and stealing sheep for their wool that she would use to secretly manufacture fashionable authentic wool coats and clothing and selling it for a profit.

She also intended on making Shaggy (who she crushed on during the case) her fiance with the riches desire his denial due to his loyalty to Googie.

Clues:

Darcie is very good with twine so she was able to neatly create the Yowie's lasso rope.

Stilts were found in the barn. She used them to make herself appear tall as the Yowie.

The Yowie used a sheep whistle to herd the sheep for her to take. Only Melbourne and his ranch hands possess those whistles.

The secret shed full of fresh wool clothing.

The Yowie played favorites and spared Shaggy from attacks due to her crush on him.
