Define interesting, because I've had some rather harsh criticism of it over at VGResource, and I want to know what to fix exactly.

well it's not perfect, but i like what you were trying to do with it (least i think you were trying to do)
the pausing in the middle of the animation could be one of the issues.
also the feet should mostly stay in place, while the body moves.

I've been having so much trouble animating my smaller sprites and here you are making great animations just to spite me
