And that was the most valuable turn for her otherwise mind-numbingly boring role in the story. I still hope siding with NOL could throw some spice into her character development (yet my hopes aren't high...)

To me, the only thing that should happen to her afterwards is for her to be captured by the good guys, tied down to a bed, and left with Taokaka to grope her endlessly. Damn traitor.

I agree that good can be a subjective term, but the Librarium works for individuals who are flat-out evil, and their Imperator is some evil death god (Hades Izanami) that seeks the death of the world. I'd say that working for someone like that deserves some punishment.........and we all know Litchi gets groped by Tao all the time, so it's nothing new. Just something to annoy her and remind her the cost of betrayal.Β

And what exactly 'the death of that world' would be? We all know it's just a subjective reality shaping by Amaterasu's subconsciousness. I'm with the 'Team Destroy' on this, I want to see what really lies beneath that illusion.

Actually, as a character she's rather questionable - overused running jokes with Taokaka and pretty pointless running after animated liquid stool... She's got a lot of potential, but I'm afraid, with her being not-so-plot-relevant, it would be for nothing.
Thus I consider her joining NOL the most interesting turn for her character development, yet alas!... my hopes aren't high XD

But it goes on and on for all four games, without any result or consequences (except for said NOL turn), it got booooooring long ago, just like Taokaka.

As we all know, Taokaka exists to grope Litchi and be the token dumb cat girl. As for Litchi chasing Arakune, it made little sense unless Lotte Carmine was her boyfriend in his previous life. Otherwise, it'd have been more merciful if she either killed Arakune herself or if she let Hakumen or Ragna kill him. One of the better endings I've seen in the series was when Arakune overpowers her, but then chooses to wipe her mind of all knowledge of him, and she lives a happy life afterwards, with not a care about the world's affairs outside of her clinic and her friends.

Yeah, I liked that ending, I'd prefer it to be canon, because all that pointless and ineffective chase after him became really boring. It's all the same for all four games. That's why I think of the NOL turn as the only interesting twist in the whole Litchi's story and character development.

You're not the only one who wanted that ending to be canon. Although you are right, this whole "deal with the devil" thing will end in tragedy, and that will make for some good drama in between. Especially if the NOL does jack shit to uphold their bargain while they make Litchi be an accessory to their atrocities then pin the blame on her for them when things die down. A woman trying to save her loved one getting blamed for all of the NOL's atrocities, while getting nowhere near towards her goal-that would make for some good drama.
