Just a little something I whipped up from beginning to end all tonight. I'm not used to taking so little time over a painting.8x10 acrylic on stretched canvas.
Thunderbirds belong to itc entertainment.
EDIT I am close to homicidal with this f*****g submissions engine. DA is getting like Byzantine law with the band aids and the patches.

This is a really neat piece.
You did a great job on the opacity of the smoke, its a very nice effect.
The reflections and shading on the thunderbird are almost realistic, you did a very good job.

Not suffering ... just pissed. Other places have such an easy submissions program and yet this place not only has one that just boggles the mind, but they are also anal about where stuff goes. Christ on a pogostick! Isn't the artist the best judge of where the work should go?

Clouds and smoke are one of my minor specialities. I'm a hopeless skywatcher who gets entranced by cloud formations and therefore caught out in thunderstorms and hailstorms a bit too often. hehehehehe
