This piece is almost two years old, and was dug up when I was reorganizing some stuff in my place.

It seemed very appropriate to finally get around to posting it. My black and white cat died Sunday night. She was ten years old, and didn't suffer much at the end, but it was still very sad. A great, simple joy in my life was just sharing mutual comfort in taking a nap together, having a nice warm, furry lump in my lap or on my side.

The cat with the white mittens represents my cat. The others are just cats who like to hang around near some nice warm glowing logs. They are foofing on the big chair with Spooky because they are done lying directly in front of the fire and getting all boily.

Original piece approximately 5", drawn black-white inverted, then colored on a negative copy with Tombow brush pens.
