Description Going traditional for this...Pencil, pen and coloured pencil drawing of well... supposed to be a Utahraptor, the largest of the Dromaeosauridae, which is believed that the ancestry of birds lies within this group.  For a sense of scale, this one was bigger than the 'raptors' in Jurassic Park;

I like that recent findings of evidence suggesting these pre-historic creatures having feathers, so I really wanted to draw a picture of one ....though it does kinda spoil Jurassic Park for ya LOL!

"That doesn't look very scary...more like a six-foot turkey."

 There again, just because it's 'fluffy' doesn't mean it's less dangerous- one wouldn't want to a hug a Grizzly bear. XD

Thank you! Hahaha yeah, either way, it makes them interesting creatures. Sometimes creatures and aspects of the natural world are stranger than what we imagine, but interesting to find out.

Now all those Dinosaur toys I had when I was little are wrong  I remember that  dinosaur 'craze' in the early 90's; probably something to do with Jurassic Park coming out.

Yes, I still have some but from the 80's also, these ones are like dragging their tail and being so different from the information we have nowadays.

Mmmmm me too, I guess the typical traditional imaginary of scaly reptiles is hard to shake off.
