So I thought things would slow down after Easter, and that I would have time to work on Date Night and an art trade I'm making with a dear friend of mine.
WRONG! Wrong! Very, very wrong! Let me tell ya something, chaos, chaos is breaking loose within my deli!
I only posted this because it was already partly finished, truth be told it has been sitting around before I posted my last journal asking what you want. Next will be Date Night related, IF I can find the darn time. My job is getting crazy, I've got my grandmother's car to insure, my mother's birthday, my mother's health, my parents moving all while I'm just daring to try to enjoy life. Seems like a typical day for my family.
Now the main subject: Shipping has gotten out of control, not just within the RWBY fandom but everywhere. What went wrong? I was around when the entire Pokemon shipping stuff happened and thought it couldn't get any worse then low key bullying, again I was incorrect. My theory is that ships are now filling the void and have become religions in a Godless world for people to obsess over, as mankind must worship something. No doubt this will be hard for some to hear but it's just shipping people, going nuts on others over not liking your fictional pairing it is stupid and extremely petty.
As you can imagine this went through plenty of alternate dialog choices, but I decided to do this one. Feel free to use it for your own gripes on other platforms, I don't care.

I was part of the fandom since the good days, back when it was the friendliest fandom on the internet. I went through the fall and the destruction of the fandom at the hands of the wasps and hornets. The drama attached to the series, the stupid shipping war and the politics all have made me sick. What keeps me attached to it are the friends I have made over it as well as Coeur Al'Aran's fictions

Yeah the RWBY fandom is so toxic that I makes the Sonic fandom tamed and mature... Iβve even seen a toxic Bumblebly shipper on Twitter post that has a link to a petition to that would ban Straight people of all rights but I think it got taken down...
Heck when I do proof of counter point that Blake and Yang donβt have feelings for each other they just twist and reword the scene I show them like in that Volume 3 scene where Blake blushed at Sun and they said it was βfriendshipβ while they show a scene Blake and Yang with their cheeks red βromanceβ seriously I can see a LBGT ship when I see one and Blake and Yang isnβt one of them... Iβm cool with Illia being gay because it made sense even Jauneβs sister Saphron and her wife was done good but unfortunately too much damage on Blake and Yang is done as Blake did formally date Adam thus it eliminates all chances of her being lesbian but they say sheβs βBisexualβ and they just twist and reword scenes in their favor trying to make their point true... and things got worse when the They holder hands and they said they would kiss in the next episode only to find out it didnβt happened and thrown huge tantrum, calling RT homophobes for not letting them kiss... they even said Blakeβs new design being βMore bisexual lookingβ... seriously I have a feeling the Sonic Fandom is more like to de-toxic long before than RWBY will... if Bumblebly doesnβt become cannon by the time the series concludes which would be a long time then theyβll probably throw the biggest toxic tantrum and if RT gives in then. it send a bad message that toxic fandoms control their series... it would be like the backlash of the Sonic movie but unlike that where it was done for good and non-toxic popular reason it wonβt go well... so I think the Government should regulate toxic fandoms and if theyβre too toxic they can remove the fans content if itβs deemed to toxic

At this point in time especially with the latest low act that fanatics in the "cult of bumblebee" have stooped to when it comes to cosplaying. 2 years i've held my silence at the actions of those fanatic shippers (Which for some unknown reason Miles and Kerry although i'd assume mostly Miles keep pandering to despite the detriment it has on the actual show), but this latest act of imbecility has finally pushed me to the edge.
If those bumblebee shippers have the audacity to push themselves on me when i release my work (rewriting the story from vol 4 and including all the pieces that manage to get retconned in the very next episode of the actual show.) but if they harrang me while i conduct that work then i'm going to bloody snap!!

It's a lovely appeal to reason that will sadly be ignored again because fandom is rather unreasonable on the face of it. Remember, "fan" is short for "fanatic", and the RWBY ship fans tend to really underscore this in their actions.
