Description
The Coalition Overlord of Chaos had been defeated. With his departure, order amongst his minions broke down completely, and the surviving Coalitionaries descended into roving packs, wandering aimlessly throughout Mobius, vandalizing and assaulting any Mobians they came across.

The Freedom Fighters swore to clean up the mess and bring the Coalition "graysuits" to justice. This proved harder than it sounded, however, as even with their leader gone, the Coalitionaries refused to surrender and fought bitterly to the death, taking any Mobians that they could with them. To make matters worse, Eggman wanted access to the Coalition's advanced technology, and sent his Legionaries on raids to recover Coalition tech, as well as any graysuits they could find.

Amidst this chaos, Tails traveled to the Dragon Kingdom to assist Monkey Khan in dealing with the graysuits. A small village in the eastern kingdom had apparently been seized by the Coalitionaries; all contact had been lost days ago, and all scouts that Khan sent into the territory had disappeared. Fearing the worst, Khan and Tails rallied their troops and marched on the village. What they found was worse than anything they had expected.

The villagers had vanished; no trace of them remained. Eggman's forces, however, had gotten there first, and traces of them did remain; their bodies were everywhere. The Coalitionaries were still standing, and there were many of them, more than the Freedom Fighters had thought possible. These graysuits were not like the soldiers they had fought before. Their armor was green and bronze, unlike the bright red of Chaos' soldiers. They also didn't display the trademark insanity of Chaos' troops; these graysuits fought like seasoned veterans, ruthless and strategic. These were the soldiers of the Overlord of Tranquility, who had now been sent to Mobius to avenge the deaths of Sorrow and Chaos.

This was merely Tranquility's scouting party, an advance troop to prepare the way for the main force. But they were enough to overwhelm Monkey Khan, who was completely unprepared for an attack on this scale. In the initial skirmish, Tails was separated from his allies, and sought shelter from laser-fire in a ruined house. Here he was cornered by a Coalition Wraith. He had never expected to encounter a Wraith, as the Overlord of Chaos didn't use them. Tranquility did, however, and there were plenty on the field that day.

In this picture, Tails tries to hide from the Wraith. Tranquility's soldiers are ruthless and pitiless. They will never surrender, least of all to a Mobian, so Tails must be ready for a long and violent battle. Wraiths have the ability to render themselves invisible, hence their name; there is no reason for this Wraith to be visible right now, other then that so the viewers can see what's happening.

Tails managed to escape the Wraith and meet up with Monkey Khan again. With the Freedom Fighters outnumbered, Khan was forced into a retreat. Returning to the capital, Khan sent urgent envoys to the Council of Acorn, begging for reinforcements. The Council responded, but even then no one knew how strong this new Coalition force truly was. With two Overlords dead, Tranquility would show no restraint or mercy. The Second Coalition War had begun. Mobius would never be the same again.
