Out of the two images, this one is better. I think theres too much "stone" in the foreground. Perhaps you could of done more with the falling water.

coming in for a second pass....commenting

i love the way the water looks so soft, it's cool how the peak of the fountain jets give a semi-transparent look. the perspective is also excelent, putting the curve in just where it is really sets it off, makes your eye follow round to the smaller jets, making you focus on the detail in them, as opposed to allowing the large ones to take centre stage. all in all, excelent shot

I'll be honest I'm not a big fan of this piece. I do love the blue tones and various lines but I think you could've done so much more with what you've captured here - I'm not sure what, perhaps at a different positioning, whatever it is you're capable of, and especially with that kinda kit!

I agree with the chap above about the doors and windows. If you swung round to your right more you'd have probably got rid of those and instead had a line of pillars following each other behind you which would've been cool.

Not quite sure what I like about this, but there's something in there telling me it's a superb pic, with brilliant composition, and colouring just as nice.

Cool, I like the positioning of the camera. The light and the colours of the fountains look nice. If only they didnt put a bloody door in that building and whatever that little panel thing is on the end of the wall

I'm liking the perspective the best, the way the camera is on the floor and the big stone pavement area seems massive. It also curves very nicely, in my opinion the jets are just the background.
Awesome cold tones though, really good jo

I'm not a fan of this one, I don't like the doors & windows in the shot and i'm not sure where the focus is

And it seems to have a kind of overcast to it, if you know what I mean?

Nice, I really like the lighting and that bold curve to the left. And also how the fountains came out, look like something fluffy or something.

reminds me of an airport i went to once somewhere.
the lighting is really good in this and the blue tones add to the effect of the water.

Looks like a potential romantic walk hand in hand stroke make out type place. Nice photo.
I'm digging the blue tones here, sort of like when the sun's just gone in but there's still warmth outside. Sexy.

Ace, all cold and blue reminds of the titanic...the waters jets look alot like glaciers...spears of ice...really interesting..they look like they're guarding entrance to the building...sorta like superman's fence or something lol.
I'm guessing this is in Brum? There's something simular in Manchester...well water features are common really in cities but yeah i think this one had lights underneath it...quite a good effect, think it was manchester.

What's the building anyway that these...centurians of ice stand infront of?

That curve is good too...that you got going there...the flat path thing almost looks like a desert if you imagine it so...and then you'd have these collasal pillars of the building like something outta greek myth. Infact i think this reminds of that simbad film where that witch turns into a seagul or something and when she turns back she has like seagul feet...er yeah

Aye, very cold, very icy lookin like something lost in Antartica, pretty cool.
