---Backstory:

masterpone is a really nice, gentle sort of stallion, and he really cares for gigabyte. he found a love for gears and science when he was young, with a dream to teach at one of the great universities. he excelled in his studies, and was considered a prodigy, graduating from school at 15. when he was 20 years old, he found gigabyte when he was on a trip to interview for a job teaching science at a university in germaneigh, run over by a large truck. he took in the colt and fixed him up, using methods he'd never even tried before. after bringing gigabyte home, he did some research and found out that gigabyte had been been running away from an abusive home when he was fatally injured. he then vowed to never tell gigabyte about his past, no matter how much gigabyte begged him. as giga grew older, his attachment to his maker grew stronger, and eventually giga realised what he really felt for his maker was not just gratitude, but love. masterpone is not quite sure how to handle giga's affections, but eventually realizes that he shares giga's feelings, but still will not tell giga about his past.
