Please allow me to introduce the newest member of our little family...This is Ula. She's an eight week old golden retriever. She will probably be the subject of many of my upcoming photos...
Isn't she just darling - it's not the best picture but it's the best one that I have of her awake - I forgot how much puppies sleep!

this is a cute shot. the puppy looks both curious and a little scared at the cold eye pointed toward him. i'd toy around with cropping this one to focus on ula's face, particularly the eyes. very nice.

does she sleep a lot? my smeagol didn't sleep that much , she was way too curious...
the thunder and lightning had one advantage, at least now she knows it already and wont be as stressed next time

Hi Steve! Awww...she's such a big cutie! She's so pudgy - when she runs too fast, she topples over herself. She slept through most of the night last night. She plays pretty hard for a couple of hours and then has an hour nap. She's chewing on everything and she loves chewing on plastic bottles...I'm totally in love with her!

Ula's having a hard morning - hard rain and thunder and lightning makes going outside very intimidating...we may be cleaning up quite a bit of poop today!
...but that's OK...it's her first full day away from her Mom and siblings and this must be a pretty stressful experience for her...
Hopefully she'll be more

Oh no... it's a little known fact that the evil poop fairy only visits homes with puppies or kittens - leaving messes in the hopes that the innocent little ones will be blamed!
