I suppose you have to do a search online for conventions, or ask around in forums. I hear most of this stuff by word of mouth.

Yep, they're a pain to find, but maybe that's just because conventions around here don't publicize enough. It makes them like invisible. ^^ Makes me think about starting a website for collecting a list of conventions for everyone. But I think it would be a better idea to leave that to someone who'd be better at keeping that updated.

Gah, I just can't get over how beautiful your coloring is n_n Love the shading on her/your wings, and I like how the bangs are semi-transparent so you can see those lovely blue eyes. The hat looks like it may slide off, but those things are always tricky to figure out in drawings. Now tell me, I'm assuming this is tied to Hogwarts, etc, so did you pick blue for the house or to match the eyes?

All you have to do is hang out, browse artwork, and have a great time! There is a dealer's room where artists sell prints of their work, an art show, rooms to hang out and chat, a video game room, art classes... plenty to do!

Well your art is a pleasure for my eyes, I duno why, but your style is kinda special, it seperates you from alot of other artists, and iam glad I know a artist like you who got such a talent to draw such beautiful pics.
