Great background and the physical changes of Jennifer Hulk are nicely done.

Really good transitions, especially the top half and the feet.

Thank you, tried to focus making it a slow but noticeable progression, not just separate single images

Yes, it's good for what it is. You're still trying to improve your craft, and that's what a good artist does!

Oh, it's not that bad

I like some of the subtle details - how she actually starts off smiling before the change kicks in and she realizes the rollercoaster ain't stopping. The shading on the last one's muscles is subtle but works, as well, and I like the background. Not sure if you made it or not, but it fits.

If I may make a suggestion, work on how the clothes would react against the flesh - the way that clothing would shift and bulge and strain before tearing away. It also gives you a chance to draw hilarious pushed-up boobs.

Otherwise, it's a lot of fun to look at and a nice work!

I know, but I guess its also deceptive with regards my skill level in that pieced together from different years/styles/experience levels, early stages done in 2009 while the final stage was this year. I pondered whether to avoid cinematic clothes tearing but 2009 apparently was racing too much so I was stuck with that without adding more delays

and yes I drew the background

I probably need to simplify my backgrounds if their drawing too much attentions

...how did you do it, actually? I'd love to know for my arts.

CycKath In reply to AmateurUnleaded [2011-05-03 00:53:06 +0000 UTC]

Its actually just a slightly tweaked version of the Difference Clouds Lightning creation method (white layer, render>clouds, render>difference clouds, invert colors, move midtone level to far right, colorize the hue as required) where I add some extra lines to control the lightning direction slightly and working highlights to get it pop a little more.

Levia-the-Dragon [2011-05-02 17:54:49 +0000 UTC]

Mmm, it does work better all lines up in one, interesting that her panties shredded away but her shorts remained...

CycKath In reply to Levia-the-Dragon [2011-05-02 20:58:44 +0000 UTC]

Well, we only see the front ruined, could be a lot more hidden by her new cut-offs...

Certainly a novel way to turn some jeans into cut-offs

What exactly did FMM request, a comic sequence, or just a one-shot?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CycKath In reply to SHrrrrrriiipfan [2011-05-04 02:54:52 +0000 UTC]

Jut TF, though most opted for comics. I just pared my down to this and still ran out of time.

Titaneer [2011-05-02 12:33:57 +0000 UTC]

How is this a failure? It looks pretty good to me. Her overall pose doesn't change a lot but the concept and muscles on her are solid

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CycKath In reply to Titaneer [2011-05-02 12:47:43 +0000 UTC]

Its more the fact it was meant to be done in 2009 and what year is it?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Titaneer In reply to CycKath [2011-05-02 12:54:05 +0000 UTC]

Oh.... oh... oh. Well, it's done now

CycKath In reply to Titaneer [2011-05-02 13:04:44 +0000 UTC]

The lack of movement was also intentional, trying to a noticeable progression with the arms rising up
