The Dark Elf who was once a common rogue with a brother who believed in honor in his kind, because of his belief Kota Tenebris was assassinated by an unknown enemy, because of this Kaiba went to find out who the assassin was, killing through the Dark Elves rivals the Elves of the Light Forest, Kaiba managed to fatally injure 1 of the lieutenants only to find out they had nothing to do with his brother's death

Taking on his brother's sword the Treacherous Blade which is another Lost Reaper Tool, Kaiba tried to find if anyone within the Dark Elves were responsible for Kota's death, but he had to become powerful in order to face them all, he started to learn the Dark Forbidden Arts of his people and tattoo his body with wards that would protect and instantly regenrate him if he were to receive any damage or lose a limb, after killing the many lieutenants he finds out his leader was responsible for his Kota's death and sought to face him to know why, he finds out Kota find out about certain truths about their leader that would have gotten them into trouble, so he sent an assassin to kill him, after killing the leader he finds out who he sent to kill Kota, Bheriya Smokes
After bringing down the Dark Elves being the last of his kind, Kaiba set out to find Bheriya in the City of Jibana, after learning of Bheriya's reputation as the Big Bad Wolf who has killed many powerful beings in the past and even killed Satan, Kaiba made sure to train for this and after finally finding him, faced him in combat and both fought evenly in battle, after a battle that took them 3 weeks without rest Muetre saw potential and hired Kaiba as a mercenary, although not really interested at first, the fact he can keep an eye on Bheriya while improving to try and kill him, Kaiba accepts and becomes a mercenary for Smokes Enterprise, he is the only person in the group that doesn't use a firearm, only relying in his brother's sword
Kaiba: For now the Wolf lives, but eventually he will die by my hands and I will have my revenge

Bheriya: Eh piss off you dark prick!
