You asked for a critique a while back (sorry I didn't get to it until now, but better late than never right?) So let's begin shall we?

First of all, you've decided to leave evidence of the structure of the figure visible and I love that, the hand of the artist is certainly present throughout. The planar analysis of the figure is really working to give him volume and form without the addition of line. You've got a near perfect marriage of line and modeling. The quick marks with (charcoal?) and eraser give the portrait a liveliness and movement. It seems that the man has either just looked up or turned his head to face the viewer. There's a good amount of contrast and a range of grey tones throughout as well. The composition is set up with near equal amounts of positive and negative space so there's visual balance. There is even distribution of the darkest tone as well, leading the viewer's gaze up to the man's face. This drawing is almost reminiscent of some of Rembrandt's etching work!

Here are some things I think you can improve: Anytime the figure is seated, it can be really hard to "naturally" depict the foreshortened thighs. Lengthening the left leg a bit more would help this, or enlarging the right knee a bit more. The fingers on the hands appear to be all the same length, dropping the lower tips into shadow would allow you to still keep the same texture throughout the drawing while hinting at the form of the fingers. Also, I think it would be interesting if you did some of these types of drawings on toned paper so that you could also incorporate light and highlight Great work!

Jó látni ilyen akadémikus rajzokat is itt igazi felfrissülés a manga rengeteg után
Nagyon tetszik a stílus, amiben megrajzoltad, első blikkre azt mondom szuper, másodikra is ám a kar rövidülés kicsit furcsa ha jobban megnézem. No persze nem ültem ott, nem láttam, hogy is jönnek a dolgok pontosan.
A szénben (ugye szén?) az a jó, hogy "el lehet mismásolni" a nehéz részleteket. Ezt sem lehúzósan mondom, csak amit látok ne aggódj ezzel én is így vagyok meg még sokan mások akik szénnel alkotnak

Your shading is excellent but you need to define the detail just a tad bit more on the face and in the clothes make it all stand out they say the eyes are the windows to the soul hence everyone's eyes tells you what their soul is like.
