Thanks, have to take what light there is with wild birds,this shot worked ok even though the light was behind...

The last time I went out for an Owl I set up and the Owl decided it was going to fly between me and the early morning sun, did so for half an hour and then flew off leaving me with no shots ! still it was well wrth watching.

Jessalyn, that is very kind of you to say so I can be quite impatient over a lot of things, but when it comes to nature I find it very easy to wait, and sometimes end up late to where ever I am going

ur so lucky that u get to see real wild owls in person...
ive only seen baby osprs.. but i did get to touch them.... they smelled liek fish

I am lucky to see them, this past week i have had to go out every night to give someone a lift, anyway there is a temporary sign on the route and a Barn Owl has been sat on it every night, i will miss it now as the sign has been removed.
